Stephanie Rackard is a Human Resources and Communications professional with more than 26 years of experience in the industry beginning with the University System of Georgia (UGA) where she served as a Marketing and Communications professional. Post transitioning into human resources industry, she garnered significant experience in the private manufacturing sector that included specialized experience in Equal Employment Opportunity law, Ms. Rackard has worked for several companies, including Tyson Foods World Headquarters in Springdale, Arkansas where she served as Director of Human Resources for the Big Bird Value Added Division, overseeing 11 multi-state locations, 25 HR professionals and 8,500 employees. She also served as a Plant Manager and Director of Human Resources with mid-sized organizations in the Atlanta, Georgia area.  Additionally, she has utilized her skills in entrepreneurial settings having co-founded a current and well-placed non-profit food program in Northwest, Arkansas that at its height of operations provided more than 1600 hot free meals daily to children.  While not an “original” Georgia native, Ms. Rackard is part of the Bulldog Nation as a graduate of the University of Georgia where she obtained a Bachelors of Arts in Journalism.  She also holds a Masters in Human Resources Management and currently serves  as Director of Human Resources for an international consulting and services organization.
